WHY JOIN US?

Member Opportunities

Curling is a great sport for students to get involved in because it is relatively easy to learn, and we are ready to teach new members how to play! The University of Toledo Curling Club offers several opportunities for students to learn about the sport, play against other members, and compete against other universities. The club also hosts social events throughout the year, which provide a great opportunity for students to meet new people.

Member Testimonials

Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our members say:

I enjoy being a part of the curling club because it is a lot of fun competing against other college clubs. I joined because curling is a unique thing to be in and looked like a lot of fun. I had no experience before joining and now I understand the rules and have learned some skills.

The best thing about curling is how easy it is to learn! The Learn to Curl session taught me the basic skills, and I learned something new at every session. I’m a much more confident curler now! Throughout my time with the UT Curling Club, I’ve gained new friends, new skills, and a new sport. I can say with certainty that the UT Curling Club made my time at UT more memorable and enjoyable.

It was very exciting to be able to compete against Penn State! When I first joined the curling club I never imagined I would get to compete against other universities, let alone at our own curling center. I am grateful for the opportunity to compete with other schools and look forward to more in the future!
