Whether you are a complete curling beginner, only watch during the Olympics, or are a seasoned pro at the sport, we welcome students of all backgrounds and skillsets.
What We Offer
The University of Toledo Curling Club is open to all actively enrolled students at UT. These students are able to reap the following benefits of our club:
Learn to Curl Sessions
Each season, we hold a Learn to Curl session which teaches participants how to play each position. After just one session, players possess the necessary skills to play and progress to practice games.
Simple and Effective Coaching
The majority of our members have curled for less than a year, so anyone can learn how to curl! Our members come from all backgrounds, from first time athletes to seasoned curlers. This makes the UT Curling Club one of the most accessible club sports on campus.
Competition
Curling tournaments, or bonspiels, turn this fun sport into a whole new challenge. This isn’t just a social club for curling enthusiasts; the UT Curling Club seeks to excel at the regional and national levels of competition.
